Arnold Croiset van Uchelen

Arnold Croiset van Uchelen, of Van Hussen Croiset van Uchelen, is Legal Advisor to Wildcat Equity Partners. He holds degrees in law and social philosophy from Groningen University and has practiced as an attorney in Amsterdam since 1989, also qualifying as a German attorney in 1996. Until 2025 he was a partner at A&O Shearman LLP; from 2009 to 2015 he headed its Amsterdam office.

He currently has a mixed practice of governance advice, dispute resolution and board work. He is a co-founder of the mediation platform wyse-cs, chairman of the board of the Gieskes Strijbis charitable fund and of the Nexus Institute, and a board member of the protective foundations of the Dutch listed companies ASML, KPN and NN.

In October 2025 the Amsterdam Enterprise Court appointed him as trustee of 99% of the shares of Nexperia, a major global semiconductor manufacturer, in connection with a governance dispute with its Shanghai listed owner Wingtech Technology.
