Biography
Bradley Geary is Chief Workforce Officer of Wildcat Defense. A retired U.S. Navy captain and SEAL, he spent his career in Naval Special Warfare. That career forged his conviction that ethics-based leadership is the foundation of lasting success for people, teams and organizations.
He graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and earned his SEAL qualification with Class 234. The events of September 11 shifted his early plans. His service included deployments to Europe, South America, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
He served in leadership roles at SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team Two, SEAL Team Four and Naval Special Warfare Tactical Development and Evaluation Squadron Three, and held his first command at SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team One. He also served as a troop commander at Naval Special Warfare Development Group. He served as executive officer of Naval Special Warfare Basic Training Command and later as its commanding officer. That command conducts Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training. He also served three years with the Joint Interagency Task Force–National Capital Region and as operations officer for Naval Special Warfare Group Three.
In 2006 he earned a master of arts in defense analysis, focused on unconventional warfare, from the Naval Postgraduate School. Across his career he trained, led and mentored people in special operations. He received the Vice Admiral James B. Stockdale Award for Inspirational Leadership, the U.S. Navy's highest leadership honor, and was the Naval Special Warfare recipient of the USO Metro Salute to USSOCOM Award.
As Chief Workforce Officer of Wildcat Defense, he brings that experience of training, leading and mentoring people, and the same conviction that a lasting team depends on ethics-based leadership.
